August Newsletter

Hello friends!

Where We've Been

Here we are, most of the way through the summer, and showing no signs of slowing down yet. We've played some cool locations, with more coming up, and in our off time, we're working on lots of new and very cool rep.

We had a great time playing at Templin Gardens in Fergus! One member of the audience (Thanks Charley!) drew this amazing portrait of the band:

Since we last wrote, we've played hither and yon; We played in Fergus, Baden, and at home in Waterloo with friend of the band Dan Belgue, (he is great - you should look him up), we played at a train station-turned-art gallery in Whitby, and we played as Maple Mustard in Elora. (Maple Mustard is our all-lady alternate lineup, if you didn't know!)

What We're Working On

We've decided to start trying a new thing where we send out a download of a demo for a new song we're working on with the newsletter. This means that all you excellent people get to hear what we're working on before anyone else! These might be originals that we're still fleshing out, or covers that we're in the process of learning. It'll be a surprise!

This time, for our inaugural demo sharing, we've got a brand spanking new original: As Good a Time as Any, written by Esther, and performed in Kayleigh's very own living room.

Have an excellent rest of your summer! See you soon. :)
